Welcome to Executrix. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Executrix web application and related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using Executrix, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About Executrix

Executrix enables users to securely configure and send messages to designated recipients upon specific trigger events (e.g., confirmation of death or missed check-ins). All data is protected using client-side encryption unless the user opts in for plaintext storage.

2. Eligibility and Access

• Currently, access is limited to approved users. Public account creation may be enabled later.
• The Service is for personal use only.
• No age restrictions apply, but users must follow applicable local laws.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You can cancel your membership at any time via the app, which will result in your account and data being deleted within 6 months.
• Executrix may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or policy violations.

4. Data Privacy and Security

• Data is encrypted client-side; only you can decrypt it unless you configure otherwise.
• Hosted securely using AWS infrastructure in Zurich and Ireland.
• You can delete your data anytime via the app.
• Executed messages and related data are automatically deleted 1 year after execution.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• Executrix is a subscription-only service. Core features require an active subscription.
• Pricing and billing terms will be provided before any charges occur.
• Payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

6. Service Reliability and Delivery

• The current service is offered on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed uptime.
• Upon full release, Executrix will guarantee message delivery once all execution conditions are met.
• Delivery may still be impacted by third-party services (e.g., AWS, email/SMS providers).

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Executrix to:

• Break any law or regulation;
• Harass, harm, or threaten others;
• Disrupt or compromise the Service;
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or user data.

We reserve the right to ban or restrict accounts for any misuse.

8. API Access

• API access is available to subscribed users only.
• You may not resell or abuse API access.

9. Intellectual Property

All content and branding on Executrix are the property of Executrix or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the Service without written consent.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” with no warranties. Executrix is not liable for any loss arising from message failure, service outages, or unauthorized data access. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the last three months before any claim.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are made means you accept the updated Terms.
