In today’s digital world, where our lives are increasingly online, it’s more important than ever to protect final words, memories, and sensitive information. Executrix is built for exactly that:

Your privacy is our priority. All messages are end-to-end encrypted using zero-access encryption — only your chosen recipients can ever read them. We can’t see your data, and no one else can either. Our service is hosted in Switzerland, protected by some of the strongest privacy laws in the world.

Main features of Executrix
Strong Encryption
We use end-to-end and zero-access encryption to guarantee that only you and your intended recipients can read your messages. We cannot access or share your emails with anyone else.
Transparent (Work In Progress)
Our client-side code is completely transparent and open for inspection. This transparency enhances security by leveraging the collective knowledge of the global security community.
Biometrics (Work in Progress)
Secure access and check-ins through biometric authentication on your mobile device. Requiring your biometrics ensures your safety and confirms your well-being.
Multiple Delivery Methods
Messages can be delivered via SMS or email. We can send links to encrypted pages that require a passphrase for decryption. For emails, we offer the option to encrypt messages with GPG keys or send them in plaintext for less sensitive content, depending on your preference.
Release Modes
You can activate Check-In Mode, with customizable time thresholds. If no check-ins are made within your chosen timeframe, your messages will be released automatically. Alternatively, you can enable Executor Mode, which lets you designate trusted individuals who can initiate the release process. If you don’t respond to a release request within a set period, your messages will be securely delivered to your chosen recipients.
For added flexibility, you can also integrate with Google’s Inactive Account Manager, which can notify our service when your account becomes inactive. This triggers the executor flow, but still sends a final notification to you — and waits a full month — before any messages are released.

Frequently Asked Questions
How secure is Executrix?
Our service employs the latest encryption standards to ensure your data remains secure. All messages are encrypted using AES-GCM, with the encryption key derived from your password during login. Encryption happens securely on the client-side, so we never have access to your keys.
Recipient messages are also encrypted on the client-side, and we offer options for using custom passphrases, allowing your recipient to decrypt the message with a key derived from the passphrase. If the recipient has a published GPG key, we can store the message encrypted with their key until it's ready to send.
This zero-knowledge encryption approach guarantees your data stays private and secure. Additionally, by storing your data exclusively in Switzerland, we provide an added layer of protection, making it resistant to even government requests for access.
What is encrypted by Executrix?
All your messages will be encrypted by default unless you specifically choose to save recipient messages in plain text. This option can be useful for less tech-savvy users or when you prefer to send messages directly via SMS instead of sharing a link to an encrypted web page.
Please note that data such as user contact information and subjects is not protected by zero-knowledge encryption, as we need access to it for the sending process.
While all data is encrypted, any information we can access is encrypted on our servers using encryption keys we control, allowing us to access that data when necessary.
How long is data retained?
Once all your messages have been successfully sent and there’s no further activity on your account, your data will be automatically deleted after 1 year.If your subscription ends before your messages are released, we’ll hold your data for up to 6 months — giving you time to renew access — after which it will be permanently deleted.
What happens if I forget my password?
Unfortunately, if you forget your password, we are unable to recover your data. Your password is essential for deriving the encryption key, which is processed client-side, and we have no access to it. If we assist in recovering your account, any previous data would need to be deleted, as you can no longer decrypt it.
We recommend securely storing your password in an encrypted password manager for safekeeping.
